1.5. Definitions
The reservation is made via the website www.keglifonyod.hu. After providing the necessary data for the reservation, the Guest finalizes his/her intention to reserve on the online interface. For the reservation to be valid, the advance payment must be paid immediately by bank card or by bank transfer within 3 working days. The reservation is considered final when the advance payment has been credited to the Apartment House's bank account.
The Apartment House will send a confirmation email regarding the reservation. If the confirmation is not received within 48 hours, the Guest is exempt from the reservation obligation.
The Guest has the right to cancel the reservation in writing under the following conditions:
The prices displayed for the Apartment House are always in HUF. The prices are gross prices, i.e. they include VAT as required by law. The prices do not include the so-called tourist tax (IFA).
Prices may vary depending on the booking period. The Apartment House defines the following 3 booking periods:
If a special price is introduced, the Apartment House will fully inform the Guest about the offer and its exact duration. In the case of special prices, the offer lasts for a specific period.
The prices indicated on the website include all basic costs related to the use of the Apartment House, in particular utility fees (water, electricity), the use of air conditioning, the full use of the Apartment House with its equipment and facilities, the use of common areas, the cost of final cleaning, as well as bed linen and towels, and the use of the hot tub during the stay.
The rental of electric bicycles and certain additional services (such as heating the hot tub, providing firewood for the barbecue or hot tub, earlier arrival or later departure) are available for an additional fee.
If, despite all our care, an obviously incorrect price is indicated on the website, the Apartment House cannot be obliged to provide the service at the incorrect price. In such a case, the Guest will be informed immediately and offered the option of confirming the reservation at the correct price or canceling the reservation.
Incorrect prices include, but are not limited to:
The Apartment House is not liable for any discrepancies resulting from data entry errors or technical inaccuracies, within the framework of the relevant legislation. In all cases, we strive to handle such situations in a fair and flexible manner.
The Apartment House shall indicate the total amount of the reservation calculated for the entire stay and the amount of the deposit in the written confirmation sent to the Guest, indicating the payment deadlines and the data required for the bank transfer, if the Guest did not pay the deposit amount by bank card during the booking process.
The payment methods may only be the following:
The reservation fee must be paid in advance, the remaining amount, including the IFA, must be paid no later than 3 working days before arrival.
In the case of a bank transfer, the date of payment is the day on which the amount is credited to the Apartment House's account.
Regardless of the payment method chosen, the data entered during the payment is not stored by the Apartment House, it is handled by the given payment processing company and the data protection provisions of the financial service provider apply to this data, or different data protection provisions of the financial service provider come into effect. The Apartment House does not block any amount of money, the blocking and its release are carried out exclusively by the Guest's card issuing financial institution.
The Apartment House does not charge a separate fee for the payment, i.e. it is free of charge. However, the payment processing company may charge a fee for the payment according to its own terms and conditions.
The Apartment House may – with simultaneous notification to the Guest and without legal consequences – cancel the Guest’s reservation in the following cases:
Electronic advance invoice
Based on the data provided during the reservation, in case of payment by bank card, the Guest will receive an electronic advance invoice for the advance payment to the e-mail address provided during registration. In case of bank transfer, the fee request will be issued in this way and its payment will be due within 3 working days to finalize the reservation.
Final Invoice
The final invoice will be issued 2 or 3 working days before the arrival date. The final invoice includes the items reserved by the Guest, the remaining part of the accommodation fee, and the tourist tax. The Apartment House issues the final invoice to the Guest based on the data provided during the online check-in.
If the number of guests provided during the online check-in has been recorded in the Apartment House's reservation system, and the system automatically issues the final invoice based on this, the Apartment House is not obliged to subsequently modify the IFA amount included in it, so the IFA corresponding to the number of guests recorded by the Guest will be charged.
Only one invoice can be issued per reservation, reservations cannot be divided into several parts for billing purposes.
The electronic invoice issued by the Apartment House is an accounting document issued electronically, suitable for tax administration identification, regulated by accounting and VAT laws.
After paying the final invoice, the Guest cannot modify the billing data.
Depending on the settings of the Guest's e-mail interface and the e-mail rules of the Apartment House, it may happen that the e-mail containing the invoice is not sent to the inbox, but to the "Spam" folder, therefore, if the Guest does not receive the invoice after the purchase, the Guest should report it immediately or check this "Spam" folder.
If the Apartment House is unable to fulfill the reservation for any reason, the Guest will be refunded the full amount paid.
The Apartment House will strive to offer an alternative date or solution if possible.
The Guest is not entitled to any further compensation beyond the refund.
Vis maior is any unforeseen, unavoidable event that is beyond the control of the Apartment House or the Guest (e.g. natural disaster, epidemiological restrictions, official measures, extraordinary weather conditions, etc.).
In the event of a vis maior event, the Apartment House is entitled to modify or cancel the reservation. In such a case, the parties will primarily seek to reschedule the reservation for a later, mutually agreed date. If the rescheduling is not feasible, the amount paid will be refunded.
In the event of vis maior, neither party is entitled to assert any further compensation claim against the other party.
The Guest can make a complaint about the service at the following contact details:
The Apartment House will investigate the complaints within 30 days and provide a substantive response.
