Hereinafter: Service Provider.
2.1. The rental contract is concluded through an online reservation on the Service Provider’s website and payment of the full rental fee.
2.2. Finalization of the payment constitutes full acceptance of these GTC.
2.3. The contract is concluded electronically and qualifies as a written agreement.
2.4. Rental is available exclusively to guests of the KÉGLI apartment house.
The Service Provider rents out electric-assisted bicycles.

The Service Provider is entitled to provide a bicycle of the same category and technically equivalent.
The rental fee is the current price published on the website.
No deposit is required.
The absence of a deposit does not limit the liability of the renter.
5.1. The bicycle is handed over to the renter in person.
5.2. By taking over, the renter acknowledges that

5.4. During handover, the Service Provider presents the basic use and safety features of the bicycle.
6.1. Wearing a helmet is mandatory during the entire rental period.

8.1. The bicycle may only be used in a condition in which the renter is capable of safe operation.
8.2. The renter acknowledges that cycling under the influence of alcohol or any mind-altering substance significantly increases safety risks.
8.3. If the renter uses the bicycle in a condition that affects or impairs safe operation, it qualifies as improper use.
8.4. In case of
occurring under the influence of alcohol or mind-altering substances, the renter bears full financial and legal responsibility and must compensate all damages and related costs.
8.5. The Service Provider is entitled to classify such use as a serious breach of contract.
The renter acknowledges that in such cases the Service Provider’s claims may be enforced without dispute.
9.1. The renter bears full, unlimited financial liability from takeover until return of the bicycle.
9.2. Liability is objective and exists regardless of fault.
9.3. Liability particularly covers
9.4. The Service Provider is not required to prove fault on the part of the renter.
Accessories provided with the bicycle
form part of the rental.
In case of loss, damage or destruction, the renter must pay replacement costs.
Replacement values:
11.1. The renter must return the bicycle at the end of the rental period.
11.2. In case of late return, the Service Provider may charge a proportional rental fee.
11.3. After return, the Service Provider is entitled to carry out a detailed technical inspection.
11.4. Hidden defects, internal damages and electronic faults may be enforced subsequently.

The bicycles may be equipped with GPS tracking or other identification systems for security reasons.
The renter acknowledges that in case of theft or disappearance, the Service Provider is entitled to determine the location of the bicycle.
If the bicycle becomes unusable due to technical failure, an accident or improper use, the cost of transport or recovery from the location is borne by the renter.

The renter must pay the full market cost of repair or replacement.
The bicycles have unique identification stickers and/or hidden markings.
Removal or manipulation
The child seat is provided free of charge.
Its use is solely the responsibility of the renter.
The Service Provider is not liable for
In case of any accident, technical failure or irregularity, the renter must immediately notify the Service Provider by phone.
Failure to do so constitutes a serious breach of contract.
The bicycles have insurance that covers damages arising from proper use; any damages beyond this are borne by the renter.
The renter uses the bicycle at their own risk.
The Service Provider is not liable for
The parties shall primarily settle disputes amicably.
If this does not lead to a result, the court having jurisdiction over the Service Provider’s registered seat shall be competent.
By completing the e-bike reservation, I accept the Terms and Conditions and confirm that I have read and understood them. I acknowledge that I use the bicycle at my own risk and assume full financial responsibility for it. I also understand that the use of a helmet and a bike lock is mandatory.
